Gallery show of Sarah Moon, a master photographer

Last week I was on assignment in Los Angeles, and had a small amount of time before heading back to the airport to fly home.  A quick scan of gallery shows led to my discovery of an exhibition of Sarah Moon's photography at Fahey/Klein Gallery.

Born in 1941, Sarah Moon is a master photographer.  Though she is best known for her fashion work, she creates memorable images in a number of categories.  The show was breathtaking, and I had a hard time leaving the gallery after half an hour.  But that was all the time I could spare if I was to make my flight.  Fortunately, I will be back in California to teach a figure workshop in Joshua Tree April 26th-30th, so I plan to go back for another viewing.

If you have the opportunity, do not miss this show!  Here is a short video in which Sarah talks about her work.
